TRA 2026 – Re-generation in Transport

Transport Research Arena (TRA) is Europe’s largest and most prestigious conference on transport research and innovation, organized every two years by the European Commission and leading professional partners. 

TRA brings together researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and civil society representatives to explore new solutions for the future of sustainable and smart mobility. Polis Network Conference 2025

FEDORA Showcases Federated Traffic Management Solutions at POLIS Conference 2025

The FEDORA project participated as an exhibitor at the Annual POLIS Conference 2025, sharing a booth with the CHORUS project. During the event, the consortium presented FEDORA’s work on federated traffic management and multimodal mobility solutions, engaging with mobility experts, city representatives, and stakeholders from across Europe.

The conference provided an opportunity to exchange ideas on topics including mobility data spaces, collaborative traffic management, and connected urban mobility systems, all closely aligned with FEDORA’s objectives. The event also supported valuable discussions on innovation, interoperability, and the future of sustainable mobility in European cities.

Multimodal Traffic Management Cluster (MTM) Workshop – ICTR 2025

The Multimodal Traffic Management Cluster (MTM) held a workshop on 16 October 2025 in Thessaloniki, alongside the International Congress on Transportation Research 2025 (ICTR 2025) conference (12th International Congress on Transportation Research). Ongoing projects shared updates, while FEDORA – EU Project and MODALSHIFT Project were officially welcomed as new members. 

Participants discussed use case categorization to foster synergies, avoid duplication, and identify gaps for future initiatives. Strategic planning topics included upcoming meetings, the final event of the finishing project, and the cluster’s future roadmap. FEDORA coordinator Roozbeh Mohammadi (ERTICO – ITS Europe) presented FEDORA, highlighting its objectives and alignment with the cluster’s mission.
